ABOUT ME
I'm Iman Barnes, a Grammy-nominated artist, serial entrepreneur, and current master’s student in Entertainment Business (expected graduation: November 2024). I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music Business (2023) and have founded and lead Yo! LGBT Raps (YLR), Boomboxmuzic Publishing, and Unboxed Travel. These ventures work together to amplify underrepresented voices in music, support independent artists, and create memorable experiences for niche communities.
In addition to my entrepreneurial ventures, I have held key roles at global companies like Microsoft, NCR Corporation, and Patchwerk Recording, where I focused on leadership, talent development, and strategic initiatives. With a passion for innovation and community-building, I’m always open to new opportunities that allow me to leverage my experience and contribute to meaningful projects.
